April - already there are flowers, many more waiting to bloom and seed heads from last year
May - Campions and alkanet in full flower and new growth really taking off
End of May into June - our picking season starts with scented sweet rocket...
...closely followed by the Ox Eye Daisies and just a few Vipers Bugloss and Dock
July - and then the pace really picks up, Common Knapweed and Greater Knapweed, Scabious,...
Yarrow, Wild Carrot, Verbascum... (also grasses, thistles, brambles, nettles, hogweed, bindweed)
Ladies Bedstraw, Privet and in the ephemeral pond area, Purple Loosestrife.
August brings some new flowers to the scene - Eupatorium, Goldenrod and Mugwort...
Tansy, Ragwort (with Cinnabar Moth caterpillar), and Corn Marigold sown by us near the sign at the gate
